The Indie Fund: Where the Money Went

Nutaku is proud to announce that the adult indie gaming fund has met its objectives and committed $2 million USD to promising projects around the world. Since July, we’ve partnered with over 20 different developers in 13 countries to ensure that teams of talented individuals have the resources they need to turn their passion projects into a reality. This fund’s ambitious goal, to infuse the adult gaming scene with a new generation of professionally made games, is well on its way to completion.
You’ve already seen some early examples of the fund’s successes in the form of games like Harem Heroes and Crush Crush: Moist and Uncensored Edition. These preliminary investments helped great titles already in development add mature content and break into the adult gaming market, both with tremendous success. Over 800,000 players have tried these two standout free-to-play games on Nutaku and provided us with extremely positive feedback.
In the coming months, you’ll begin to see more of the investment bear fruit in the form of high quality games from amazing developers both old and new. Some are long-time veterans of the H-games scene receiving funding on new projects; others have decided to try their hand at adult for the very first time. Some of the money has even gone to small publishers localizing titles from abroad, helping ensure western audiences have access to the game's original adult content.
This list will continue to expand in the coming months as more partners we're working with announce their upcoming games.
We thank all the many independent developers and studios who contacted us with ideas, aspirations, and excellent plans. Regretfully we couldn’t support every one of them, but the future of adult gaming is bright and we continue to welcome proposals. Hit us up with your best ideas at publishing@nutaku.net and we’ll be happy to give you, at the very least, our sincerest feedback.
To our fans: hold on for some exciting times ahead! There are over two dozen games slated for release on Nutaku by mid-2017, ranging from highly demanded Japanese titles to some of our first western exclusive releases. Watch this space for further details soon.
