Interview with the Peach Beach team!

You may already know that the Peach Beach team is the one behind Lust Academy. The title was released earlier this month, and the Nutaku team took the time to ask the developers a few questions! 

- Give us a little background information about the studio! 

The PeachBeach team was formed in 2019. Our team consists of a group of veteran game developers, with over 15 years of industry experience. It’s our passion for Japanese gal games, anime, as well as our previous experience in game development, that motivated us to create the best possible quality games, featuring gorgeous anime gals. 

- Any specifics points about the development team? 

We are a small elite team, with experienced developers. While we’re based in Taiwan, our team members have various cultural backgrounds. The most important thing, to us, is that our work is our passion- we’re all gamers, and are passionate about manga and anime. As industry veterans, we use the latest technologies, and are keen on adapting to new ways of doing things. We also created a fun, hardworking company culture, and our people are proud of the products we make. 

- Have you developed other adult, or non-adult, games? 

For years, we made many non-adult and adult games, for several large international game companies in Japan and Taiwan. 

- Tell us more about Lust Academy; any specificities? 

Lust Academy Deluxe is an arcade shooting action and tactical squad simulation game. We have many characters to collect, bosses to battle, and a whole lot of sexual fantasies to fulfill!

- Any inspirations? 

We found inspiration in Thunder Strike, a top 10 best-selling game in China and Southeast Asia between 2012-2016. It’s a classic arcade fighter shooting with tactical squad building elements. We had so many ideas to make something fun and engaging, and, of course, adding hot and sexy magical girl shooting themes!  

- What are the main challenges you faced while creating your game? 

Our challenges reside on the more personal side of things. Even though our team members are all passionate about adult gaming, some of them are reluctant to expose themselves as adult game developers, due to Asia’s more conservative customs.

- What kind of value does a partnership with Nutaku bring to your studio? 

Working with Nutaku is an opportunity for many new avenues. Its dedication to adult gaming, as well as the search for possibilities to convert mainstream games into adult titles, aligns with our company goals. The worldwide adult audience brings great value for our game’s exposure, and also encourages us to explore new game ideas; to stay innovative, while satisfying player needs and experience.

- Where do you see the adult game industry going? 

The great thing about anime imagery is that it knows no limits. Anime games allow us to bring players into the wonderful world of anime, while fulfilling all kinds of sexual fantasies. The industry will only get better; as the world’s appetite is getting bigger for anime style, the graphics, AR, VR, 2D live and 3D technology will keep improving, making pretty much anything possible.
