As a hapless young man, you’re forcibly conscripted into building up an epic army of fierce warrior princesses and powerful goddesses to wage war against opposing forces. Between battles, your newfound harem of imposing amazons awaken ancient, passionate power by having spicy group sex with you!

What makes King of Kinks fantasy world pop is the game’s unique and entrancing art style, which brings this fantastical reimagining of a real historical period to sexy life. Character animations have a realism to them, yet remain firmly rooted in the realm of “cute 2D anime girl” and never tread into that dreaded, decidedly un-sexy uncanny valley. What this essentially means is that the girls in King of Kinks are as close to IRL anime as you’re going to get on mobile.

Of course, the static art is no slouch, either! Sex scenes play out like beautiful interactive comics, as instead of just staring at pictures and clicking through a line or two of text, you’re actively engaged in every sex scene. The camera will cut to extreme close-ups of the action, give the player multiple angles of scene, and so much more. King of Kinks makes sex scenes more dynamic and interesting to play through, which make them that much more rewarding to unlock!

Progression-wise, seasoned mobile JRPG heads will learn the ropes here fairly fast. Fight to collect more units, level up those units, then pit them against more units to collect them too. It’s very straightforward, and King of Kinks does a great job streamlining it. Battles are over in a flash, and play out with fast, crisp animations that never drag on for too long. It’s a game that doesn’t like to waste your time, and wants to keep you on your toes throughout.

That speaks to King of Kinks as a whole, too! There are definitely plenty of mobile RPGs on the marketplace, no less ones with anime aesthetics. But this one draws inspiration from more than the most popular anime, and features some of the most surprisingly effective visuals in the genre. It makes the gameplay less grind-y, the girls more original, and the progression more rewarding. Games like King of Kinks exist, but few pull it off quite like it does.
