If there’s one thing gaming doesn’t have enough of, it’s Norse mythology. At Nutaku, we’ve got plenty of lusty historical ladies, but only a few of them have roots in that most ancient trees, Yggdrisil. Believe it or not, though, our pals across the ocean at DMM have an import that’ll get you all tied up in knots and screaming for Odin at the top of your lungs!

Kamihime Project (literally, “God Princess Project'') lives up to its name by introducing players to a whole bevvy of anime takes on classic mythological goddesses. The way we’re told it, these goddesses lived in harmony long ago, thriving in a civilization built entirely around magic. However, the notorious cataclysm Ragnarok put the kibosh on this burgeoning society, and smote it all to ash. Years pass, and soon, that civilization is all but lost to the fog of history.

But evil doesn’t rest. Mysterious powers want nothing more than to see the world, still recovering from the great cataclysm thousands of years ago, plunged back into darkness – permanently this time. To prevent the coming of another Ragnarok, then, the weight of history rests on your shoulders. Can you gather enough ancient goddess princesses and train them to fight the rising evil? Or will evil prevail, and bring about a far more devastating Ragnarok? Well… that’s up to you!

Kamihime Project makes a compelling argument for staying the course, though, with compelling and lushly animated combat that’s just as addictive as it is challenging. With over three years of polish under its belt, this is a well-oiled machine of a JRPG, with combat fine-tuned by years of player feedback and enthusiastic fan support. What you’re jumping into now is the same great game it was a few years back – just smoother, faster, and stuffed with more content than you’ll know what to do with!

And speaking of getting “stuffed,” the beautiful goddess princesses of Kamihime Project are some of the cutest on our platform, and unlocking the game’s spicy sex scenes is worth the effort. This is a huge game in Japanese otaku spaces, and the reason for that should be pretty obvious once you roll your first girl: every character in this thing is ridiculously adorable. Drawn from several mythologies all around the world, and designed to the standards of the most popular moe archetypes on the market, Kamihime’s got a stacked cast of stacked lasses ready to throw down in combat and in the bedroom!

Kamihime Project is a great example of a live service game that’s only gotten better with age. If you checked in on this one at launch and haven’t dropped in since, you’ll be surprised at how different it is – not to mention how many more girls are present. And if you didn’t check this out at the beginning, well, there’s never been a better time to! You’re going to be benefiting from several patches, content drops, new co-op content, and so, so much more.
