Introducing the Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar!

In the past few months we have been looking for ways to reward our players and their engagement with Nutaku. With that goal in mind, in the beginning of December we have decided to launch a brand new feature to the platform: the Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar.

With the introduction of this new feature Nutaku players now have the opportunity to quickly and easily claim a free daily reward whenever they visit Nutaku. In this post we will be sharing a bit more information about this new feature, what you can expect from it, and how your engagement will decide its fate.

What is the Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar?

The Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar is a daily rewards system. Each month, a new Rewards Calendar will be available containing a collection of different daily rewards. Players can access the calendar to see all rewards that will be offered over the course of the current month and will be able to claim their current daily reward. Only a single reward is available per day, so after claiming any reward players need to wait until the next refresh happens (00:00 UTC) before being able to claim the next day’s reward. 

Each calendar day features different rewards, and progress on the calendar is tracked for each individual player. All players start on Day 1 of the calendar, regardless of when they actually started claiming rewards. After claiming their first reward, players progress to Day 2 of the Calendar, which will be available for claiming in the next refresh. After collecting the Day 2 reward, they become eligible for the Day 3 reward, and so on. In other words, the Calendar Dates measure how many times the player has collected rewards, rather than actual dates. The more times players collect rewards during a calendar period, the more opportunities they will have to access the rewards available later in the same month.

We know this system will look and feel familiar to most of our players, as many of our free-to-play games employ similar types of daily in-game rewards. While we have designed our calendar so that players are rewarded for their engagement with Nutaku, we also made sure to respect those that may not have as much time available as they would like: we made claiming rewards as simple as we could, players are not required to claim rewards on consecutive days, and our calendars are designed so that even if you forget to claim a reward a few times you should still be able to claim all available rewards before the calendar period is over.

How can I access the calendar and collect my rewards?

The Daily Rewards Calendar is only accessible to logged-in users. After logging in, you can access the Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar by:

• Interacting with the Rewards Icon (i.e. Gift Box) in the top right corner of the website, near your profile icon. 
• Alternatively, you can visit the dedicated Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar page.

To claim a reward, simply interact with the “Claim Reward” button or with the current available reward icon. The reward will be immediately available on your account.

I have claimed a Reward Code as one of my daily rewards. How can I use it?

After claiming a Reward Code, a new button called “Check Reward” will be displayed near the day that you claimed that reward. Interacting with the Check Reward button will display a window showing your Code and how you can use it.

Will every month’s calendar be the same? Are you planning other rewards?

While we have set some design goals and guidelines for this feature, each calendar is currently being designed independently. You can expect to see different rewards, calendar durations, reward allocation, number of rewards available, and other differences on each calendar. This will be especially true over the course of the next few months as we experiment with different ideas and collect data about player’s usage and other metrics. 

Is the Nutaku Daily Rewards Calendar here to stay?

This is our first time doing a Daily Rewards System and there is still a lot that we need to observe to confirm that it is creating a positive impact for our players. During this month of December we will be taking a very close look at how much our community is engaging with the Calendar. We will be analyzing how many people are claiming rewards, how often they do, etc. We want to deliver a rewards system that is widely adopted by the community, so that we can justify further improvements to it over time knowing that players are interested and still using it.
